How to Play Stocklab Game (Report Writting 05)

Many ways to invite people to invest in the capital market, including through investment games so as to give the impression of investing is fun and easy. that's why, Indonesia Financial Services Authority is innovating by creating a stocklab game and declaring the stocklab stock market investment competition held with the Indonesia Stock Exchange and Mandiri Securities as an effort to increase the literacy of the capital market. Stocklab itself is a capital market simulation game for the general public. This game uses the card as a simulation of stock and economic circumstances as well as toy coins as money for investment. This game is very easy to understand and fun especially for youth.

The first thing we must know is the game component. Components in stocklab games are 4 stock sector cards and 4 price tokens, 1 mutual fund, 36 economic cards, 60 action cards, 10 split tokens, 58 coins, 5 debt cards, 5 card hints and 5 cards of order. After knowing the components of the game we can do the preparation of the game is shuffle and arrange 4 Card Stock lined from left to right and then put 4 Token Shares in the number 5 (Preliminary Price) each sector as a marker of stock price of the sector. Followed by placing the Mutual Fund Card between 2 Stocks in the middle. After that shake the Economic Card and place 6 cards above each Stock Card, return the unused Economy Card to the box. Share each player's initial capital of 15 Coins, Limit Screen to store at once the number of coins, and Order Cards at random. Beat the Action Card and place it in a place that is easy to reach by all players. Once the game preparation is done, we can start the game with 4 phases of the game.
The first phase is the biding phase. In this phase, players can open the Action Card twice the number of players. Then the players auctioned the order of the way, each player fills the fist with the coins in secret, a minimum of 1 Coin. Compare the number of coins on each player's fist and re-order the Sequence Card starting from the player with the most coins. If the series, compare the Order Card you had previously owned. Pay all Coins used for bidding to the Bank.

The second phase is the Action Phase. In this phase each player takes 1 card in turn, starting from Card Order 1 until all the cards run out. The captured card has two functions, when taken and stored it will become a share. And if the player chooses to activate the card then the card will work according to the instruction written on the card and the card can not be saved.
The third phase is the Selling Phase. In this phase players can sell one type of stock as much as desired or may decide not to sell shares according to the player's needs to see the state of the card economy or the player's coin inventory. Sales of shares in accordance with the order of the way when biding phase.
The last phase is the Economic Phase. In this phase, players open the top Economic Cards of each sector. Run the effect of each card, then discard all Economy cards that have been activated. After the fourth phase finished run the game is repeated from the first phase or the biding phase until the economic card runs out.
The game is over when the last Economic Card is opened. each player calculates the total assets they have from all their Stock Cards, Mutual Funds and Coins. The player with the highest total value is declared the best investor. In the event of a draw, the player with the smaller road order in the last round comes out as the winner.
Through this stocklab game Indonesian Financial Services Authorities hope to foster the spirit of youth investment. The game was officially launched in conjunction with the Stock Saving Program which was also initiated by Indonesian Financial Services Authorities. This game indirectly teaches players to analyze the state of the economy and determine the right time to sell shares or run effects on the card during the action phase.
