The Tourism Industry Is Driving Thailand's Economy (Report Writing 10)

The tourism industry in Thailand is growing very rapidly. Based on the survey of world economic forums, in 2015 Thailand entered into the top 35 in the ranking of travel and tourism competitiveness report. Ranked 10th in Asia Pacific and ranked third in Southeast Asia after Singapore and Malaysia. While in 2017, Thailand ranked 34th globally.
According to Indonesian student union president in Thailand, Irwan Rahadi said the rapid development of tourism in Thailand due to Thailand as a destination country of world tourism destinations, quite aware of the needs of the visitors. Various means of transportation are prepared to ensure that all tourist destinations are accessible. For example BTS, MRT, free to air-conditioned bus, taxi, motorcycle taxi, and Canal transportation (river transportation). Other supporting facilities are the availability of Tourism Information Center at various points of the crowd, so can ask the staff who speak fluent enough English. There is also tourism police, to help keep the visitors safe and want to report when visitors lose important documents.
Apart from facilities that make it easier for foreign tourists to visit Thailand, the development of tourism industry in Thailand becomes a good opportunity in terms of economic improvement of its citizens. Not just focusing on modern and supermarket shops, the Thai government should give full support to traditional Thai markets. Through the icon-icon tour like this can move the middle-class economy down and educate the community.
Then thhe arrival of foreign tourists becomes a new market for Thai traders. It is through these traders that the culture of the Thai people can be seen. The arrival of foreign tourists also indirectly motivate people to learn English as their communication tool.
However Thailand has been able to become an attractive tourist destination ask many tourists to visit. The number of tourists who continue to increase from year to year on a macro-economic basis contributes many benefits. It is even estimated that tourism receipts directly contributing to the Thai GDP of 12 trillion baht range from 9 percent (one trillion baht) in 2013 to 17.7 percent (2.53 trillion baht) in 2016.
